Our Programs & Services
High Point Neighborhood Family Center offers a range of essential services for children and families. All programs are provided with dignity and respect — and our Care Center requires no referral.
Family Support Services
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
We help families navigate complex benefit systems including SNAP (food assistance), Medicaid (healthcare), and TANF (temporary cash assistance). Our staff guide clients through applications, renewals, and eligibility questions.
Afterschool & Recreation
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
A safe, enriching environment for children after school hours. Our program provides homework help, recreational activities, and a caring adult presence for children across the region.
Care Center — Food & Clothing
Hours: Mondays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
No referral required.
Our Care Center provides food and clothing assistance to individuals and families in need. Come as you are — no appointment or referral is needed to access these services.
Tax Preparation Assistance
Offered seasonally. Contact us for current dates and availability.
Free tax preparation assistance for qualifying individuals and families. This program helps community members file their returns accurately and claim the credits they’ve earned — including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).

Support Groups & Wellness
Recovery Meetings: Wednesdays & Saturdays, 8:00–10:00 PM
Community Yoga: Mondays, 1:00 PM
We offer ongoing wellness and recovery support for adults in our community, including regular recovery meetings and a community yoga class open to all.
Recreation
Recreation programming is embedded in our Afterschool program and community wellness offerings. Contact us for details on current activities.
